Very clean place with nicely created Americanized Poke. Proteins are cut in mini dices, (not a fan) but they have a good selection of toppings and the flavor is there. Rice was cooked well, and the service was excellent. Unfortunately maybe I got there to early, but the owners were having a meeting on the corner table which made me decide to eat in my car. No big deal, but part of having a restaurant or close to it is having a professional atmosphere. So why 4 stars? Well on top of the little meeting, the parking is horrible. There's no where to park. Everything slot was full and it took me awhile to get parking. But overall the food was good, the prices were ok. Will I comeback? No, because I can go to many other locations near by that are just as good or better and with decent portions.
My wife and I wanted to get some poke bowls to take to the beach. This spot provided great service and food! I think the very nice and friendly girl working the front counter was the daughter, and her parents were back preparing the non-poke items like the sushi rolls. They had the usual options but also had choices I've never seen at other poke spots like artichokes and mandarin oranges. Everything was fresh and tasted great...only wish they gave more fish (looked like about 2 ounces per protein choice). Regardless, my wife and I will be coming back to support this family-run business that's close to our house!
I'm always on the lookout for the best poke spots and this is officially my favorite poke place in LA! They have the biggest variety of proteins I've encountered! Everything is super fresh and they are generous with the portions. It's a family owned business and the staff is friendly and kind. They have a great dining area with comfortable seating and a homey feel. Already looking forward to coming back!
